Poster for Paris
Paris, France – Since 1982, Willi’s Wine Bar, a unique bar/restaurant in Paris, has been commissioning contemporary artists to design an image for their annual harvest time poster, inspired by the pleasure of wine. These limited edition, highly sought-after posters are in collections around the globe.
Upon seeing the 26+ posters that Tom Fowler had designed/illustrated for the Connecticut Grand Opera & Orchestra, Mark Williamson, owner of Willi’s Wine Bar, selected him to design/illustrate this year’s poster which marks the 20th anniversary of the series.
This poster will be featured in an exhibition at The Print Gallery in Southfield, Michigan, along with past posters from Willi’s Wine Bar. The Print Gallery has the largest collection of prints and posters in the country and is the distributor of Willi’s posters in the USA. The posters can also be purchased directly at Willi’s Wine Bar or via their website.
So if you are in Paris, stop in for a glass of wine (they have over 250 different kinds of wine including dozens that you can taste by the glass) and enjoy our addition to the poster collection at Willi’s Wine Bar, 3 rue des Petits-Champs.
