Teens armed with life-saving skills
Armed with the tools and knowledge to keep them safer when they grab the car keys and get behind the wheel, a record number of teen drivers this summer, received an intensive, one-day in-the-driver’s-seat course on exactly what it takes to be a safe and defensive driver.
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for 15- to 20-year olds, accounting for over one-third of all teenage fatalities. Practice, education and experience are the only ways to reduce these unfortunate figures, and that’s exactly what The Key to Safe Teen Driving Program provides. It is a three-hour course which prepares young motorists for real-world situations by exposing them to potentially hazardous situations in a safe, controlled environment.
