Regulars At Melbourne Hyatt Can Leave Belongings Behind
The Grand Hyatt Melbourne’s “Leave it at Hyatt” scheme enables visitors to safely store their belongings on site, ready for their next stay.
Business travellers know the importance of packing light, but that often involves leaving behind non-essential items like gym clothing, indulgent toiletries, and sentimental keepsakes. In an attempt to solve this problem, and encourage repeat visitors, all guests have to do is fill out a card and tell the reception that they’re planning to leave some belongings behind. The laws of common sense apply, but for the moment there aren’t any formal restrictions on what can and can’t be left behind. It’s also possible to have your clothes laundered, pressed or dry cleaned (for a fee) ahead of your next visit. On return to the Hyatt, guests can simply get their items delivered back to their room.
While the idea was first launched at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne hotel, owing to its large number of repeat corporate and business guests, the service has also caught on with other Grand Hyatt locations around the world.
