Brand Packaging® Magazine Design Gallery Awarded
Lake Forest, IL — Prestone Products Corporation was recognized by Brand Packaging® Magazine’s 2015 Design Gallery for the Rigid Plastic category – winning for the new product launch from Prestone® (with graphics designed by TFI Envision, Inc.)
The competition selects packaging that effectively uses design, structure and messaging to tell the brand’s story and connect with the consumer. The shrink label graphics for the Prestone® Triple Seal Protection™ Stop Leak product packaging needed to follow Prestone’s brand guidelines (also developed by TFI Envision, Inc.) and clearly communicate the three-step process of pouring the 3-in-1 unique products forms (liquids and pellets) into the cooling system. Brand awareness was achieved by incorporating a large field of the familiar, trustworthy yellow brand color behind the Prestone logo and it’s ‘hot cold color bar’ trade dress, and differentiate the three variant’s by incorporating product colors. The online winners are also featured in a Brand Packaging’s Design Gallery hard cover publication.
The new product launch was also a winner of the 2015 New Product Showcase for Chemicals, Lubricants & Filters, at the AAPEX Show in the Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas, NV, in November 2015.
AAPEX buyers determined the winning entries in eight categories by voting for their favorite products. In addition to being on display at AAPEX, all New Product Showcase entries are included in the AAPEX 2015 Product Plus magazine being handed out during AAPEX, as well as on the AAPEX website and AAPEX 2015 mobile app.
