Stuffed Animal Lets Parents Leave Voicemails
Toymail Talkies are plush dolls that enable parents to exchange voice messages with their children by syncing their phones to the doll or allows children to talk to other children who also have a Talkie. The device functions as a downgrade of a smartphone for children who are too young to have one.
While parents are at work or traveling, they can communicate with their kids through brief messages. A Talkie connects to the WiFi signal, meaning parents who travel only need to have an internet connection on their phones to send and receive messages. The Talkie has a parent-approved circle of who can receive and send messages through the device, including other Talkies. Beyond sending messages, the Talkie can also laugh, snore and say “wee” while the children are interacting with it.
The Talkie also features a schedule reminder, where it reminds children of their bedtimes or when they should prepare for school in the morning. These reminders can include the parent’s voice with personalized messages.
