TFI Envision Tapped Again by The Negg®
Southport, CT — Each year, about 60 percent of the eggs produced in the United states are used by consumers. While other food costs have skyrocketed, eggs continue to be one of nature’s best bargains among high-quality protein foods.*
Airigan Solutions, LLC , the inventor of The Negg® Egg Peeler – a fast, easy, fun kitchen tool to help peel hard boiled eggs quickly – reached out again to the creative team at TFI Envision for help in developing the new in-store shelf tray for their colorful line of products. “For a product such as The Negg®, it’s important to provide shoppers that may be unfamiliar with the product, a quick visual that tells the story and encourages purchase,” said Mary Ellen Butkus, VP and Senior Art Director at TFI Envision.
The designers at TFI Envision took optimal advantage of the full color, custom die cut header on the litho-mounted graphic area on the new in-store shelf tray by incorporating the demonstrative ‘egg peeling’ photo; bright yellow gingham pattern; and easy-to-read copy to briefly explain what the product does. The shelf tray can be reloaded with more product as needed and can be placed easily on store shelves or at the point of sale.
This new shelf tray was introduced at the 2018 International Home + Housewares Show.
Last year, the creative team at TFI Envision re-designed the packaging for The Negg®, by improving the visual communication on the carton:
– The front of the package incorporated all new photography of the product with an ‘egg’ inside the product to quickly identify product usage
– The sides also featured new photography of the instruction sequence (shaking, and pulling off large egg peel) to demonstrate how easily the product works
– Color coding the box top with a gingham pattern that matched SKU color to make it easy for shoppers to select the product of their choice (and bring warmth and personality to the product).
