Graphis Typography 4 selects TFI Envision
New York, NY — TFI Envision, Inc. is delighted to announce a Merit Award from the Graphis Typography 4 competition for the Standard Diesel “Owns the Road” Print and Digital Ad. This is the 4th award for this ad campaign that TFI Envision created to position the Standard Diesel brand as the ‘go to’ line of diesel auto parts.
To define their place in the category, TFI Envision developed the “Owns the Road” concept. The campaign included both print and digital ads. The campaign was expressed in a series of ads in both print and digital (animated and static). The ads visualize the toughness of the brand, in print, by showing a road crumbling in the wake of the brand and in digital by having the graphics ‘shutter’ as though they were stamped firmly into the “road” background.
As a winning entry, it will be included in Typography 4,a full color, 200+ page, hard bound publication. It is the fourth edition of this Graphis series devoted to typographic excellence in design. The edition features articles about prolific Typeface Design Masters Matthew Carter and Ed Benguiat alongside some of their best work. Also presented is a documentation of the history of type from the 5th Century B.C. to present.
