“Don Giovanni”, an opera in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Don Giovanni is the unrepentant seducer who, with his partner in crime Leporello, attempts to conquer the heart of Don Ottavio's financé, Donna Anna. His misdeeds are thwarted by Donna Anna's father, the Commendatore, who is later killed in a duel by Don Giovanni. His scandalous behavior continues as he tries unsuccessfully to seduce another innocent victim, the young peasant girl Zerlina. Eventually, a statue of the late Commendatore will come to life and give Don Gionvanni the punishment he rightfully deserves.
